Doesn't the county offer curbside pick-up for recycling?
We heard a lot of different things about the "Blue Bag" project the county started back in 2007 so we decided to check for ourselves. After contacting the county's program coordinator we learned the county does not offer this service any longer. All the more need for willing citizens to help do their part in keeping SoWal beautiful! 

Where do you pick-up?
SoWal Recycle offer's curbside recycling pick-up to all of the greater SoWal area! South Walton area includes, all of the towns along the entire stretch of Hwy 30A, Miramar Beach, Pt. Washington, Santa Rosa Beach, Inlet Beach (we think that's all, but not sure if we missed something :) )

When do you pick-up?
We let you choose how often and what days you need our service! We will pick-up after 2:30 PM because that's when we get home from school.

How much does SoWal Recycle cost?
We offer several different options to fit your recycling needs. Anywhere from twice weekly to on demand (you tell us when you're ready for a pick-up).

Do you provide bins?
We do not provide recycling bins, but you can use them if you want. We don't require that your recycling goods be in bins at time of pick up. You can just bag your recyclables like you do your regular trash and we'll come pick it up and sort it for you! If you want to purchase bins we found some inexpensive, 18 gal. bins at Sears.com, you can check them out here.

Do I need to sort my recyclable goods?
You can sort your recyclables if you prefer, we'll still pick it up ;) All we ask is that you follow Recycling Guidelines for our area and only include recycle approved materials. You can click here and learn more about South Walton Recycling Guidelines for help!

Do you offer pick-up for businesses?
YES! We are committed to helping everyone recycle! We offer the same frequency for businesses as we do individuals and let you choose how often you need our service. The price will vary depending on the type of business.
